The Soundctuary is a collective born from the desire to unify divided spaces, through the art of sound.
We believe in the capacity of sound to bring us into a state of deep awareness of ourselves, and of the world around us.
Expanding beyond a purely musical or therapeutic approach, our practice lives at the crossroad of spirituality and artistry.
We facilitate collective sonic rituals, that immerse the being in a field of silence and sound, expanding the receptivity of the outer and inner senses. We foster harmony and create a time and space where one can truly listen.
All artists of the collective have in common a devotion to reunite all parts diluted in chaos or confusion, into a coherent ensemble that uplifts and grounds simultaneously. We play this exploration through our soundscapes, as well as with the people and spaces we serve.
entering a deep listening space
Listening does not just apply to our capacity to hear.
It is a state of felt presence. An acute attention to the inside, as well as to the outside world, permeating all senses.
When we enter such a state, we become porous to the hidden face of things. We enter deep levels of connectivity, to ourselves, to others, to what is present before us.
We release false interpretations.
We open to what is truly here.
Our role, is to create the opening with sound, break away from the stress of the external, so that a true, intimate dialogue can begin, through presence.

This tribe assembled along the course of a 7-year journey around the world, to study ancient and modern sound traditions. We, as an ensemble, are brought together by our mutual fascination for the power of sound to unify our divided spaces.
Our geometry changes and adapts to the needs of the spaces and people we collaborate with, assembling and disassembling according to the right harmony we are intended to play.
